Review Of Digital Dashboards London

Digital dashboards are not only being integrated as part of normal equipment on vehicles they can also be installed on older cars by trained automobile electricians. The digital dashboard is an economical way of performing a lot of essential tasks in one main site rather than hosting a number of memory chips and locations inside a motor vehicle that have to be fixed if something is not operating properly.

The digital dashboard stores memory on an Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory microprocessor (EEPROM). This memory can be erased in numerous ways and when this happens one should take their auto to a specialist who has the proper tackle and skill to resolve the glitch.

If the automobile is in a crash there can be an interruption in the electrical transmissions to the memory of the EEPROM. When this does happen the digital dashboards can either go utterly blank or present inexact information. When they are absolutely blank all of the information contained in the chip has been erased. When erroneous information is shown the chip has been spoiled and the information has been tainted.

Driving For Seniors

Published: Feb 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Recently, I was talking to one of my former professors when he told me that when he turned 65 years old, the state of North Carolina made him come in to take a driving test to make sure that he was still ok to drive safely on the roads of North Carolina. He laughed when he told me about it, but I couldn’t help but think about it some more when I got home later that day.

It’s kind of sad to grow older and not have things work as well or as quickly as they used to. In one sense, my professor was faced with this reality when he had to go in for a mandatory driving test to prove that he could still drive and obey the rules of the road. If you ask me, they should administer tests like this to everyone no matter what their ages are. I have certainly seen my share of bad drivers under the age of 65!

Driving as a senior can be dangerous not only for the senior but for other people around that senior. When I was in the police department, we were forced to watch a video on knowing the difference between a drunk driver versus a senior driver versus someone who was off of their medications OR all three. My boyfriend, who also used to be a police officer, told me the story of how when he was on training with another officer during a night shift, they noticed that the vehicle in front of them was swerving all over the road. Immediately, they saw signs that indicated the person behind the wheel had to be a drunk driver.

Car insurance discrimination

Published: Feb 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

We all know that there is a lot of discrimination when it comes down to car insurance but nobody does seem to do anything about it. Why? Glad you asked! Although everyone knows that female car insurance is cheaper compared to premiums made by men, people have come to accept it as a fact of life. Insurance companies have made us believe that this is just something that we all have to live with and we just complied without even questioning it.

So what if statistics show that women do not make as many claims as men do? The same can be said for older drivers because they drive carefully or should I say, slowly? Just because some stupid statistics say that men have made more car insurance claims does not mean that men are worst drivers than women. Each accident is different because circumstances are never the same, so how can insurance companies group all accidents under just one big category?

This doesn’t seem fair at all but if we let insurers lead us to believe that whatever they are saying (or whatever can be deduced from the stats they have gathered over the years), then we are as doomed as the north pole we can only try to save the ice but we know that eventually it will melt no matter what we do. Therefore it is important to voice out our opinions and tell them that there should be no discrimination on car insurance quotes.

Mahindra Xylo, the vehicle that has taken the MPV market by storm since its launch, comes packed with the most modern technological breakthroughs. After offering features like the mEagle engine developed on the NEF CRDe platform, the Engine Immobiliser that makes the car theft resistant, The ultrasonic sensors embedded in the rear of the car that assist reverse parking, the digital drive assist system that downloads all kinds of drive related information to you on the fly, the Xylo now offers the ABS Brakes or Anti-Lock Braking System which improves the vehicle’s stability by preventing the wheels from locking when brakes are applied on any skid-prone surface (snow, water, loose gravel, or even oil).

The basic function of ABS Brakes is to prevent the wheels on a vehicle from locking while braking. The advantage of a rotating wheel is that it allows steering control even under heavy braking by preventing skid of the wheel and allowing it to tractively interact with the road surface all the time.
