The time for Audi to shine in its section of the automotive industry has finally come. The RS6 is back, but this time it’s as a sedan version and it’s got the competition worried. The 2008 Avant version wasn’t exactly what most enthusiasts were looking forward to but with such an immense amount of horsepower and torque, this RS6 is seeking the title as king of sedans like never before.
What lies beneath the hood is an FSI direct injection, dry-sump lubricated, twin-turbocharged V10. All of this adds up to 580 HP @ 6,250 RPM and 479 lb-ft of torque @ 1,500 RPM. This Audi, like others, is electronically limited at 155 MPH. Unlike others though, it has an option to raise the electronic limit to 173 MPH. Before it even reaches those type of speeds though, it completes the first part, also known as the 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
