The Dangers of 18-Wheel Trucks

When it comes to getting large amounts of cargo across the country in an efficient manner, 18-wheeler trucks are one of the most commonly used means of transportation. The size and power of the trucks allow for large, heavy loads to travel quickly from one location to another.

That same size and power that makes these trucks so efficient also creates potential danger on the roads that they travel. Normal sized vehicles have to share the road with the 18-wheelers and have almost no chance of fairing well after a collision with the over-sized vehicles.

After numerous accidents, it has almost become common knowledge that drivers should stay out of the blind spots of 18-wheelers. However, accidents still occur as a result of this situation. It is important to be aware that the drivers of these large trucks can’t always see you and that serious injury could occur if you sit in a trucker’s blind spot for too long.
