Top Gas Mileage is Important
When the gas prices went up, it really put a big impact on people’s wallets. It was hard to go anywhere, especially on a vacation. People could not afford nice things like they used to because it all went in the gas tank. For a lot of people, it was hard to save hard earned money when it was just burned up in the gas tank.
It really put a big impact on truckers. For example, my dad used to be a trucker and he used to spend a couple hundred dollars on fuel during the week. When the fuel prices went up, he was spending $800-$1000 dollars per week. It was hard to keep any type of profit because of this.
Most people were trying to find cars that had the best gas mileage they could find. Little did they know, when smaller engine cars with good gas mileage started selling like rockets, the prices of these cars went up extremely. The bigger engine vehicles were selling for less.
Usually when you go on vacation, you really don’t worry about paying a lot for gas. It’s a different case now, the farther you go, the more you really pay. Going to Florida is fun but it sure takes a lot of gas.
You can try to save as much gas as you can. If you have a car that has a smaller engine, then most likely your getting pretty good gas mileage. I would say 30 miles per gallon is pretty good gas mileage. When you get less then that, that’s when gas really start to cost a lot of money.
Using fuel system or injector cleaner will help fuel mileage. You can get it at basically any auto store or most retail stores. Gas stations also have it to. Some other things you can do is watch how you drive your car. By this I mean limit the use of accelerating heavily. Make sure you don’t use the a/c in the car unless you have to. Try to car pool with other people when possible so they can pay their share of gas.
They are making hybrid cars also. These cars run on half electric and gas. These cars are a lot of money. A new thing I have seen is running your car on water. It doesn’t actually run completely on water, it uses water to form hydration gas to increase gas mileage extremely. Some of these systems are cheap and you build them yourself. The systems that are expense are already made. Why get one of those when you can build one yourself, getting the parts from your local hardware store.
These are neat and they aren’t hard to put in. All you basically is a manual and a parts list. The manual will give you step by step instructions on how to build this system yourself. If you don’t like it for some reason, it is easy to remove.
It is extremely important to get the best gas mileage possible. This will make you able to go to the places that you love the most.
